Born in Belo Horizonte, Giovanna De Giacomo graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 2022. During her graduation and the first year of graduation she worked in renowned architecture offices in Belo Horizonte such as Tetro Arquitetura, Anastasia Arquitetos and Fabiola Constantino Arquitetura e Interiores. Fluent in English and Italian and with an intermediate level of Spanish and French, she has always loved exploring the world through the eyes of architecture.

 

She lived in Italy for a year in 2020, where she studied architecture at the Università di Bologna and did an internship at the Tisselli Studio Architetti. She returned to Bologna in 2022 for a specialization course in Marketing and Communication for Architecture at YACademy as she has always been very interested in this area.

 

She has been sharing content focused on architecture and travel on her Instagram since 2016 and in 2022 she created Arch-Explorer by Gio, publishing content about architecture fairs and cities around the world with industry partners. In 2024, everything built with Arch-Explorer became derlus, a company specialized in creating architectural itineraries, providing unique and exclusive experiences for enthusiasts and professionals in the sector.
